ఫెలిసిటి లో తెలుగు అంత్యాక్షరి గురించి ఎవరు మాట్లాడినా నేను ఇలా మొదలెడుతున్నా...ఇప్పటి వరకు అసలు లేని ఈవెంట్ ని స్టేజ్ మీదకి తెచ్చాను...జనాలు లోపల "వీడు డబ్బా కొట్టుకుంటున్నాడేంట్రా??" అని అనుకున్నా విషయం ఐతే అది....ఎందుకంటే నా నోటిని,నా మొండితనాన్ని మొత్తం వాడేసి ఆ ఈవెంట్ ని ఫెలిసిటి లో పెట్టించటమే కాకుండా మెయిన్ స్టేజ్ మీదకి ఎక్కించాను...ఇంకా నా చిరకాల కోరిక అయిన anchoring కూడా తీర్చేసుకున్నాను....
my ego is satisfied...it is that i too can do no bad anchoring....
thanks to karan for encouraging me to conduct antyaakshari right from day1 when i proposed this idea in felicity idea blog......
ఇంకా అంత్యాక్షరి విషయానికి వస్తే నేను మొదటి నుంచి నేను single-handed గా కండక్ట్ చేసేయ్యగలను అనుకున్నాను....కాని అది నేను ముందు నుంచి పని చేసుంటే సాధ్యం అయ్యేది....మనమా బద్ధకించాం...ఇంకో కారణం ఏంటంటే పేపర్ లీక్ అవుతుందేమో అన్న భయం....అసలే నాకు excitement ఎక్కువ కదా!!!!సరే పోని నేనొక్కడినే ఆ పని చెయ్యగలిగానా అంటే ఐడియా లు మాత్రం నవత(co-anchor and co-organizer) తో కలిసి వేశాను...కాని ఆ వచ్చేసరికి నాకు సాయం చెయ్యగలిగే ఇద్దరే మనుషులు కనపడ్డారు....గోపాల్,భరత్ రాం....ఐడియాలకి ఐడియాలు,హెల్ప్ కి హెల్ప్,పాటకి పాట,మాటకి మాట....నేను వాళ్లిద్దరి సాయం ఎప్పటికీ మర్చిపోలేను...విషయం ఇక్కడితో అయిపోతే ఫర్వాలేదు...కానీ వాళ్లు లేకపోతే అసలు ప్రిలింస్,మెయిన్స్ రెండు నిర్వహించటం నాకు గగనకుసుమమే అయ్యేది...ఎందుకంటే సాయం చెయ్యడం ఎవరన్నా చేస్తారు...కాని నన్ను అర్థం చేసుకుని మంచి కెమిస్ట్రీ తో పని చేశారిద్దరూ.....
ప్రిలింస్ అప్పుడు గోపాల్ ఒక జూనియర్ తో కలిసి publicity చేశాడు...ఎలా అనుకుంటున్నారా...Motorola school ముందు ఒక టేబుల్ వేసుకుని దారి వెంబట పోయే ప్రతి ఒక్కళ్లని పిలిచి మరీ చెప్పాడు అంత్యాక్షరి జరుగుతోంది పైన.... వెళ్లండి అని...ఇంకా భరత్ రాం నా వెన్నంటే ఉన్నాడు...he got the question papers photocopied and also helped in correcting them and what not....
జూనియర్స్ కూడా చాలా సాయం చేశారు...ఏ పని చెప్పినా,ఎంత దూరం వెళ్లమన్నా ఒక్క మాట ఎదురు చెప్పకుండా చేశారు....ఫణి కృష్ణ,రాజేష్,సునీల్....వాళ్లే కాకుండా ఇంకా మరి కొంత మందిని తీసుకొచ్చి మరీ సాయం చేశారు...మరి వీళ్లందరికీ ధన్యవాదాలు చెప్పకుండా ఊరుకుంటే ఎలా.....అందుకే ఈ పోస్ట్....
ఇంకా ఎవరినో మర్చిపోయాను కదా!!!అవును ఎవరు వాళ్లు...???భాను కిరణ్, నవత,చరణ్....భాను కిరణ్ మొదటి నుంచి అంతా monitor చేస్తూ ఫలానా టైం కి ఫాలానా పని చెయ్యండి అని మమ్మల్ని బాగా లీడ్ చేశాడు...నేనొక్కడినే చూసుకుంటానంటే, అలా కాదు....నీతో పాటు ఎవరన్నా female co-anchor ఉంటే బావుంటుంది అన్నాడు..and then came Navatha into the picture....నవత కూడా చాలా planned గా చేసింది పనంతా....she wasn't feeling well the last few days...otherwise i think she could have done still better....she was my partner in classical dance also...her suggestions helped me do better there also...Thank u very much Navatha....
చరణ్-వీడు నా కోసం,తెలుగు అంత్యాక్షరి కోసం మెయిన్ స్టేజ్ ఇప్పించాడు అందరితో మాట్లాడి.....time and place constraints వల్ల తెలుగు అంత్యాక్షరి ఫైనల్ రౌండ్ కూడా Motorola లో పెట్టేద్దామని అడ్డమైన జనాలు వాగితే,వాళ్లతో మాట్లాడి స్కెడ్యూల్ మార్పించి మూడో రోజుకి తెలుగు అంత్యాక్షరి పెట్టించి ఎలాగైనా మెయిన్ స్టేజ్ మీదే జరిగేట్టు చూశాడు...అంతే కాదు,రెండో రోజు ఎండ పడి హిందీ అంత్యాక్షరి కి జనాలు రాకపోతే,చెర్రి షామియానాలు వేయించాడు ఆడియన్స్ కోసం...మరి వాడిని ఎలా మర్చిపోను చెప్పండి...love u cherry maama....
ఇంకా participation vishayaaniki వస్తే, అంత మందిని చూసేసరికి నా ఉత్సాహం ఒక్కసారి రెట్టింపయ్యింది...అసలు అంత మంది బయట వాళ్లు వస్తారని అనుకోలేదు...వచ్చారు,విజయవంతం చేశారు...నేను IIIT teams ఎక్కువ ఉంటాయనుకున్నాను.....కాని బయట వాళ్లు కూడా తక్కువేమి రాలేదు...పాపం ఒక టీం అయితే సికింద్రాబాద్ నుంచి నాకు ఫోన్ చేశారు...ఎప్పుడు ఇంకొక 5 నిమిషాల్లో ప్రెలింస్ స్టార్ట్ అవుతుందనగా....మేము అంత్యాక్షరి కోసమే వస్తున్నాము...మమ్మల్ని include చేస్తారా అని...అక్కడి నుంచి వాళ్లు వచ్చేసరికి కనీసం గంట పడుతుంది....ఎలా అబ్బా అనుకున్నా...నాకు వాళ్లని participate చెయ్యనివ్వాలని 100% అనిపించింది...వాళ్ల enthusiasm నచ్చింది...గోపాల్ ని సలహా అడిగా...వాడు సమస్య లేదు...వచ్చెయ్యమను..మనం చూసుకుందాం అన్నాడు...రమ్మన్నాను...వాళ్లు ఇక్కడికి వచ్చేసరికి 12:30 అయ్యింది...ప్రిలింస్ అయిపోయింది...
అయినా వాళ్లకి ఇద్దరు జూనియర్స్‌ని ఇచ్చి,రాయనిచ్చాం ప్రిలింస్...పాపం వాళ్లు క్వాలిఫై అవ్వలేదు...కాని అది వేరే విషయం...వాళ్లు అంత దూరం నుంచి రావటం నాకు నచ్చింది....
ప్రిలింస్ నుంచి మెయిన్ స్టేజ్ కి వచ్చిన టీంస్ గురించి అందరికీ తెలుసు...కాని ప్రిలింస్ లో qualify అవ్వకపోయినా అందరిని మెప్పించిన టీం హేమంత్,సందీప్ వాళ్ల టీం...theirs is quality participation....and Rama Reddy and Sana Pradeep's team...their performance was beyond my expectations...Amruta and Team from St.Francis never seemed like people for Telugu Antyaakshari...But they did exceptionally well in the prelims....They looked like North Indian people....
If I don't mention about Anusha(&Team) from VNR, our discussion about this Telugu Antyaakshari is definitely incomplete....I was very vexed with the correction process..Then started round 2...
rapid fire antyaakshari round with 90 secs duration.Though our Harshita,Anupama & team sing well that couldn't bring me out of that vexation....Then in between she(Anusha) was questioning about many people singing only one line,this and that...Then I said "Madam,we are here naa..U don't worry.." I got annoyed...But she gave me an instant's shock with her divine voice....I used to think that P.Suseela , S.Jaanaki & Chitra are the only females with such thin voice line and sweet voice...But this girl showed me the reality....And after her singing I couldn't control my emotions,I whistled and what not....Before the final round I came to know that she was my super senior in Nalanda(Intermediate) which means I don't know her...She don't know me....And even on the main stage,when she sang that "Om namo nama" song from SURYA IPS movie,I tried not to indulge in between...But I cudn't...I joined my light voice to hers...I felt really happy...Thank you Anusha for making my event special with your voice....

PS : place and time constraints ఉన్నాయని తెలుగు అంత్యాక్షరి ని Motorola లో పెడదామన్న జనాలని అదే పని హిందీ అంత్యాక్షరికి ఎందుకు చెయ్యకూడదు అని అడగాలనిపిస్తుంది...సరే అంతా సజావుగా అయిపోయింది కాబట్టి lite....

Congrats first of all for Felicity in general and Telugu Anthyakshari in particular... Everything was good except that PS. I understand your frustration. The Hindi version once had good anchors like rathi etc(I dunno who did it this time.) and good participants (who actually sang instead of one line padhya pahtana) which entertained the crowd. Obviously, the committee wasn't confident enough for the Telugu version of the same. As you made everybody realize this now, the most important job for you is to make sure next year's Anthyakshari is conducted to near perfection because you need at least three consecutive successes for the trend to continue automatically.
And there is some problem with English text overlapping with Telugu in IE. Also suggest me a good plugin to read indic scripts in Firefox :P
Arey mama... your work is not yet complete..(ade.. igo satisfaction tho aagipotavemo ani..) juniors lo neelaga matladagalige, atleast neeku vunna telugopedia lo (kotta padam.. artham kakapote cheptale.. :P) sagam anna vunna vaadni identify chesi, you have to make sure that the trend continues in both Intra IIIT events as well as some big events like felicity.
same thing as gopal n rohith said. juniors lo nee database lo sagamanna vunna vallani pattukovali, so that the trend will continue. naku telisi sandhya vundi kakapothe tana participation important. so let us find jr.nag for Telugu Anthyakshari...

the quality of participation was excellent. The prelims was good because it has covered everything and we had good time pass during the evaluation.
coming to the main stage, it was good anchoring by both and the song selection was also good...and we know that the audians are crazy about telugu songs...arupulu puttinchaaru audians
